Reach Mcleodganj by afternoon. After check-in at the hotel/guest house,
spend the day exploring local attractions like Bhagsunag Temple,
Bhagsu Waterfall, Dalai Lama Temple, and the Tibetan market.
Overnight stay at hotel in Mcleodganj.
- DAY 2: Mcleodganj to Triund Trek
- Altitude: 6,830 ft to 9,350 ft.
- Distance: 4.5 – 5 km trek
- Time: 4–5 hours trek
After breakfast, begin the trek to Triund.
The trail passes through dense oak and rhododendron forests with
scenic views of the Kangra Valley. On reaching Triund, enjoy
breathtaking views of the Dhauladhar mountain range.
Evening at leisure followed by dinner. Overnight stay in tents at Triund.

- Distance: 4.5 – 5 km descent

Wake up early to witness a beautiful sunrise over the Himalayas.
After breakfast, trek back down to Mcleodganj.

Day 1: Arrival at Mcleodganj (6,830 ft)
Your journey begins with arrival at Mcleodganj, a beautiful hill town in the Kangra district of Himachal Pradesh.
After check-in at the hotel or guest house, you can relax and acclimatize to the altitude.
If time permits, explore nearby attractions such as Bhagsunag Temple,
Bhagsu Waterfall, Dalai Lama Temple, and the local Tibetan market.
The peaceful surroundings and cool mountain air set the perfect mood for the trek ahead.
Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel in Mcleodganj.
Day 2: Mcleodganj to Triund Trek (6,830 ft to 9,350 ft)
After an early breakfast, start your trek towards Triund.
The trail gradually ascends through dense forests of oak and rhododendron,
offering spectacular views of the Kangra Valley along the way.
The trek is moderate in nature and suitable for beginners. Small tea stalls
on the route provide short rest breaks and refreshments. As you gain altitude,
the majestic Dhauladhar mountain range slowly unfolds before your eyes.
Upon reaching Triund, enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of snow-covered peaks
and vast valleys. Spend the evening relaxing, witnessing a beautiful sunset,
followed by dinner. Overnight stay in tents at Triund under a star-lit sky.
Day 3: Triund to Mcleodganj & Departure (9,350 ft to 6,830 ft)
Wake up early to experience a mesmerizing sunrise over the Dhauladhar range.
After breakfast, begin your descent back to Mcleodganj.
The downhill trek is easier and takes you back through the same scenic trail.
On reaching Mcleodganj, the trek comes to an end.

How to Reach Mcleodganj – Triund Trek
Pickup Point:
Akshardham Metro Station, Delhi – 07:00 PM
Our group departure starts from Akshardham Metro Station in the evening.
From here, we travel overnight towards Mcleodganj in a comfortable vehicle.
By Air:
The nearest airport is Kangra Airport (Gaggal), located around
18 km from Mcleodganj. Regular flights operate from Delhi to Kangra.
From the airport, taxis and local buses are easily available to reach Mcleodganj.
By Train:
Pathankot Railway Station is the nearest major railhead,
well connected with Delhi and other major cities. From Pathankot, you can
take a taxi or bus to reach Mcleodganj (approx. 3–4 hours drive).
By Bus:
Regular Volvo and deluxe buses run from Delhi (ISBT Kashmiri Gate / Majnu Ka Tila)
to Dharamshala. From Dharamshala bus stand, Mcleodganj is just
8–10 km away and can be reached easily by local taxi or cab.

Note:
Normally Sky Wander Holidays expect to carry your personal luggage on your own, if you wish to offload your backpack, you can give it to Mule.
Charges of offloading backpack:-
INR 1200/- if you make an online payment, 10 days in advance
INR 1500/- if you inform us after reaching Sankri
The backpack cannot weigh more than 11 kgs. Backpack should have waterproof cover. Suitcases/strolleys/ bags will not be allowed.

Paying the Trek/ Adventure activity fee:
The fee can be paid by online transfer/check deposit/ demand draft. Instruction for payment will be forwarded along with your confirmation email. When your transfer is done, please e-mail us a confirmation mail with your transfer details, so that we can follow up your reservation efficiently.
When to Book:
It is wise to make your booking at least two months in advance. However, if you want a good deal on your domestic/international flight, we recommend organising your trip at least five months in advance. (Please contact us if you require a late booking)
Terms for Cancellation & Refund:
Customer is suppose to make a full payment in advance for the confirm bookings.
If in case a confirmed booking needs to be cancel than below are the refund policies
1. Prior 30 days of the confirmed date, 50% of the total amount would be refunded
2. Prior 25 days of the confirmed date, 40% of the total amount would be refunded
3. Prior 20 days of the confirmed date, 30% of the total amount would be refunded
4. Prior 15 days of the confirmed date, 20% of the total amount would be refunded
5. Prior 10 days of the confirmed date, 10% of the total amount would be refunded
Note: After the said time the Sky Wander Holidays would not be entertaining any cancelation and no amount would be refunded whatsoever.
